Είναι ανάμεσα στους 63 Έλληνες διακεκριμένους επιστήμονες των τελευταίων 200 χρόνων που βραβεύθηκαν πρόσφατα από το Ινστιτούτο για την Προώθηση της Έρευνας και της Εκπαίδευσης Τεχνών, Επιστημών και Τεχνολογίας και το Αμερικανικό Κολλέγιο Ελλάδας Deree.

AWARD OF NEMITSAS Prize 2021 in MEDICAL SCIENCES

The Nemitsas Foundation under the Governance of the Cyprus Academy of Sciences, Letters and Arts announces that the NEMITSAS Prize in MEDICAL SCIENCES which was not awarded in 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic will be awarded on Thursday the 4th of November 2021
The Prize will be awarded by the President of the Republic of Cyprus at the Presidential Palace.

The NEMITSAS Prize is awarded to Tony Kouzarides, Professor of Cancer Biology at the University of Cambridge.
The Prize consists of:

  • The Award Parchment
  • The solid Gold Medal
  • Monetary Award of €30.000

NEMITSAS Prize 2021 in MEDICAL SCIENCES

The new Board of Directors of the Nemitsas Foundation under the Governance of the Cyprus Academy of Sciences, Letters and Arts announces that the Prize in MEDICAL SCIENCES which was not awarded in 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic, will be awarded in October 2021.

The Prize will be awarded by the President of the Republic of Cyprus in a special ceremony at the Presidential Palace at the beginning of October 2021. (The precise date will be announced later.)

Applications/Nominations will be accepted from 1/4/2021 up to 30/4/2021, preferably in electronic form, at the electronic address of the Nemitsas Foundation foundation@nemitsas.org until 12:00 noon of the 30th April 2021.

Attached evidence that the applicant/nominee is of Cypriot origin is required.

The Prize consists of:

  • The Award Certificate
  • The Gold Medal
  • Monetary Award of €30.000.

(In case more than one applicant is selected, the Monetary Award will be split equally among the Laureates.)

Applicants who have already submitted their nomination last year do not need to apply again unless something important changed in their curriculum vitae and want to include it in their application.
